Introduction

I am a professionally qualified salmon, trout and fly dressing instructor offering a series of fly fishing courses together with accompanied fishing.

I hold the Salmon & Trout Associations National Instructors Certificate in all three disciplines. In addition I am a Licensed Coach under the Government's Sportcoach.org scheme.

I offer qualified professional instruction in all three disciplines of game fishing:
Salmon, Trout and Fly Dressing plus fly fishing for pike and saltwater fly fishing
and all in a stress free environment.

I am also a member of the Register of Experience Fly Fishing Instructors and Schools

I have been assessed and tested at the highest level to teach both adults and children. Having started to fish with my Grandfather over forty years ago my experience is at your disposal. I commenced game fishing with the fly in 1975 and I have been fanatical ever since. A days fishing is an investment in life. A week's salmon fishing is even better. I am particularly fond of the Atlantic Salmon as you will find out if you join me in Scotland.

I teach with a style that is relaxed and at your pace, after all we fish for pleasure. My clients are surprised at how much fun and laughter is involved in a casting lesson. By highlighting your strong points and working on areas of weakness the majority of problems are quickly solved.

Having retired after more than thirty years service as a Detective in the Metropolitan Police in London I am able to offer days of stress free pleasure in the Kentish countryside and further a field. Many professionals working in the City find a day away from banking, law or medicine allows the batteries to recharge and the mind to rest. Indeed plumbers, mechanics, psychologists and even policeman soon relax and enjoy their day. I offer one to one tuition as well as demonstrations to groups, clubs, schools, shows and companies across all three disciplines. For those interested in boat fishing I hold the Royal Yachting Association's Level 2 Power Boat Skippers certificate.

There are many people who are interested in fly dressing; some do not fish and others do. We offer courses in all aspects of fly dressing for beginners and improvers.
